Rebecca Hemming

Rebecca Hemming  (Becky) has been teaching at Hannah’s music for  10 years racking up over  120 passes through exams, she teaches a wide range of instruments up to grade 8, these are: Flutbec1e, Clarinet, Piano, Saxophone and Keyboard. Having the ability to teach over three exam boards (ABRSM, Trinity and LCM) gives her students the flexibility choice to fit their exam work around their own busy lives and adapt to learning difficulties that the student may encounter. She teaches students of all ages and relishes a challenge, her favourite saying being ‘If I can do it, anyone can!’

Before coming to Hannah’s Music Rebecca worked at a music centre in Newport as a woodwind specialist. This is where she honed her knowledge about woodwind instruments, completing the Yamaha sales training and achieving a distinction! Becky still offers any woodwind advice to parent’s students and customers of Hannah’s music when required keeping retail knowledge of instruments up to scratch so that students get the very best advice whether buying their first instrument or upgrading to a more professional instrument.

More recently Becky worked as the organist at Redwick church, Magor and held this position for 5 years

Becky also teaches up to grade 5 Theory but can accommodate GCSE and A level tuition when required; she has also worked with a student to help them achieve an extra unit towards their Level 4 HNC, setting the work the syllabus required and then teaching the student through the unit enabling them to gain admittance to The Liverpool Institute for performing arts.

Becky has been CRB checked and any parent can see these documents by request.
